Kids & Teens Drawing Class
Ages: Kids 5 – 11, Teens 11 – 18
Our weekly one-hour drawing class for kids and teens is designed to help them express their artistic ideas and develop their creative potential.
Student artists learn fundamental drawing techniques such as shading, blending, and stippling along with learning how to draw proportions, details, and designs using pencils, crayons, markers, colored pencils, chalk pastels, and oil pastels.
Lessons are adapted to each student to ensure that they are able to fully express their ideas and gain confidence in their work. All skill levels are welcome.
Kids & Teens Mixed Media
Ages: Kids 5 – 11, Teens 11 – 18
This weekly one-hour craft class is designed to help kids and teens express their artistic vision.
Participants use various materials such as pencils, crayons, markers, colored pencils, chalk pastels, oil pastels, acrylic paint, watercolor, watercolor crayons, clay, paper, glue, yarn, and beads. Techniques deployed include collage, paint, watercolor resist, clay, and yarn projects.
Lessons are adapted to each student to ensure that they can fully express their ideas and gain confidence in their work. All skill levels are welcome.
Toddler Time
Ages: Kids 2 – 5
Art is for all ages, including Toddlers! For our young artists, ages 2-5, we offer Toddler Time classes. These one hour classes allow the kids to socialize and explore the sensory tables.
There is a story time for the kids followed up a small group art activity that they take home that day. Parents stay with their artists as they observe their little minds exploring the arts!
Home School Classes
Ages: Kids & Teens 2 – 18
Our home school classes are planned and taught by licensed art teachers. During the class they will introduce an art history lesson based on an artist, painting, style, or time period. The lesson will be followed by a hands on visual art project for primary and secondary students.
