Paint & Sip
It’s the best of both worlds. You get to make art and friends at the same time. Social painting classes offer a creative way of socializing and connecting with your true creative self. Our experienced teaching artists will guide you through learning painting techniques such as mixing colors, perfecting brushwork, and creating various textures and effects. This class is excellent for beginners and experienced artists alike.
Grab some snacks and drinks and make this event a Paint & Sip!! Our studio is within the D.O.R.A district in downtown Canal Winchester, so grab your favorite adult beverage and join us.
Splatter Painting
Unleash your inner artist with our splatter painting class. Learn how to create unique, abstract designs by throwing paint! When you come in you get a poncho, goggles, and shoe covers to protect yourself from the paint. Artists will also decorate a box with markers and crayons to take their painting home in. It is perfect for artists at every stage of their creative journey, from first-timers to experts expanding their artistic goals. You’ll have fun, make new friends, expand your artistic horizons, and leave with a beautiful, unique piece of art!
Bump your experience up a notch with our glow in the dark splatter paint experience. See your canvas come to life under our black lights with our glow in the dark paint. $5 extra per person.
Acrylic Pour Painting
Learn the secrets of acrylic pour painting in this class with the freedom to create your own design. Choose up to five colors and create mesmerizing designs using techniques like tilting, twisting, and turning your canvas. Perfect for beginners or experienced artists, you’ll leave with a stunning piece of art to display!
Worried about the mess? You will take your piece home in a box that you get to design as well.
Tie-Dye
Tie-dye is a colorful and unique way to create designs on fabric. In this class, you will learn different techniques, such as folding, twisting, and tying fabric to create various patterns. You will also be taught how to create different color combinations to enhance your creative designs.
**Corporate and team logo designs are available for t-shirts if planned in advance.

Private Events
Book a private event at Square Canvas Art Studio today. Your group will choose the activity for your private event in advance. You can explore the fundamentals of splatter painting, personalize a woodcut, pour paint, tie-dye, and more! Set up these engaging activities with friends or as part of a team-building experience for your business. Enjoy a fun and creative bonding experience together with 10 or more artists.
Kids & Teen Art Classes
Arts & crafts classes for kids and teens foster creativity and imagination by teaching them to use materials like paper, glue, paint, and clay. They will create projects such as paintings, sculptures, and collages. They also learn about using tools like scissors, brushes, and markers for different effects, making these classes ideal for acquiring new skills and exploring self-expression.
Recommended Ages:
Kids 5-11, Teens 11-18
Wood Cuts
We offer wood cut classes at our studio which are perfect for those who want a ready to go project. Artists come in and paint the wood design of their choice and then personalize it with letters and numbers. These are great for teams and individual groups as a personalized wood cut design can be chosen prior to the class.
Toddler Time
At our Toddler Time classes, parents can experience art with their child. They will get to engage in story time that connects to the art project as well as our hands on sensory tables. The kids will each create an age appropriate art project that they will take home with them that day.
Recommended Ages:
Kids 18 months – 5 years old
Homeschool Classes
Homeschool art classes are offered throughout the school year. The classes focus on an art history lesson such as a famous artist or art concept. The students then create a project based on what they learned. All lessons are designed by a licensed art teacher. Ask us about creating private lessons for your home school group or co-op as well!
